About Us:

Schaefer Excavating, Inc. is located near Mount Ayr, Iowa and began in 1999 with one track hoe. We have expanded our business to include a tiling machine with GPS mapping, 2 track hoes, 2 back hoes, 3 dozers, 2 skidloaders, a mini excavator, a trencher and a dump truck, along with an experienced crew. We are able to provide you with any excavating service you may need.

What We Do:

Schaefer Excavating, Inc. is involved in all aspects of dirt moving and land improvement. We install field tile using GPS technology and mapping, build terraces and ponds, clear land and prepare home and building sites, dig basements and install septic systems, demolition and site restoration.
